GIVEAWAY!!

Christmas is the time of giving, and i've been in the giving mood all season long! there just isn't anything quite as special as giving a gift. it's such a beautiful, full feeling! so i say it's time for a GIVEAWAY! what do you think?:)

Since I am in the giving mood, I am going to give away a  **SBP Photo Session** to one lucky winner!

Photo session includes:
*up to 90 minute photo session
*disc of all edited images
*five 4x6's, two 5x7's, one 8x10, and one 11x14 print

*Photo session must be redeemed in Rochester, MN. Travel fees will be applied to locations outside of Rochester, unless I travel to the area to which you live at which we can then schedule the session at a time that works for us both.

*A list of print prices will be provided for you if you're interested in ordering more prints at the time I order your prints. I print from a professional lab to assure your photo quality is nothing less than the best with the most accurate color that's calibrated with my computer.

*You are able to gift this photo session to a friend, as well, if you aren't in the area or are not able to redeem the photo session.

*Another option is, for aspiring photographers, a one hour mentoring session. It's just another option!

Simply love. Joe & Julie married.

Julie, the beautiful bride, is one of my few returning clients from summer of 2011 and i love her to death! she is seriously just the sweetest! so i was honored when she asked me to take her wedding photos.

their wedding day was perfect! we got some snow the night before, then their wedding day was just beautiful! bright, sunny, and in the 20s. i was definitely sending up some thanks!

then the photo schedule for the day was so relaxed. and both the bride and groom are so just go-with-the-flow type people and we planned plenty of time for photos, so once i got the shots that they for sure wanted, they were up for trying anything that my dear heart desired. i could go on and on about how amazing this wedding was!

Joe and Julie both have hearts of gold. seriously some of the nicest people on this earth! it was my honor to capture their special day. <3

and be prepared for many photos, i had a hard time deciding!

waiting for his bride..

and of course some ring shots.:)

and some pre-ceremony shots:

thanks again, Joe and Julie, for letting me capture your special day. it was truly an honor!<3

i need to be better about blogging. i really really do! i'm terrible about it. i at least need to start blogging sessions! now it's winter and photography still hasn't slowed down very much, which is a blessing i'd say. but really, when do i have time for blogging? maybe next semester? ha!

anyway.. this session. it was a warm one. it was in warm (err.. HOT!) AZ back in September. these three are sisters, my cousins as well! and this session was fun! their oldest sister was getting married, and since i was down there for the wedding, their mother wanted me to do a shoot of these girls. their mom (my aunt) was busy with wedding stuff, so my mother and i took these girls out and did photos of them! and let me tell you, it went so smoothly when their mom wasn't there.. maybe i have to start doing that for all photo sessions of younger children?;)

the youngest of these three girlys isn't super cooperative and has lots of energy, so it was my mission to get good shots of her, and as i left that session i was very satisfied! and we had yummy yummy light too! i still am in love with these photos. <3

although i wasn't the wedding photographer, i of course couldn't help snapping a couple pictures.:)

i'm gonna blog at least once a week.. and if i don't, hound on me! tell me to get my rear end in gear!
