hello out there!

are you still alive?

actually, i think the real question you're wondering is, am I still alive? and the answer? yes. yes i am! i wouldn't ever abandon you completely, though it probably feels like i have!

let me tell you, vacations are wonderful! Minnesota was so much fun. so fun, in fact, that i'm hitting the dusty trail in August! :) well, with a possible small weekend jaunt that way in just over a week. (don't tell anyone, but i think i'm meant to move up north. cause i love it so much!)

hmm.. so what did i even do in minnesota? oh my goodness! i'll try find a few photos to share a teeny part of the story!

1. ate popsicles and hung out with family.

2. went four-wheeling and hung out with more family.

3. babysat this cutie! (and her brother, too! the cutest kids EVER!)

4. let her take pictures of me, and she had a ball! she was SO adorable taking pictures. i wish i had a picture of her to show you.. you would've loved it too! she posed me and everything. :)

cringe!

5. watched close to 2,000 motorcycles ride into the little tiny town of Wolf Lake. they were riding for the Ronald McDonald house and foundation and whatnot! was so neat!

6. i took a LOT of pictures! (mostly client work, though.)

7. went camping on an island! you'll hear this story sometime this week. it's a good one!

8. rode a horse for the first time in my life. and let me tell you, there are many rides to come!

9. went fishing for the first time in like 4 years. and i LOVED it!

10. went tubing behind a boat.

11. got very sunburnt!

12. made many new friends!

yeah.. i know i'm hideous. it was really windy that day, so my hair was everywhere! oh well!

13. and i made many, many memories!

it was a trip of a LOT of firsts, let me tell you. there was lots of learning experiences, lots of laughter, lots of smiles, lots of hugs, lots of a lot of things. and i couldn't be more thankful!

anyway, i am now back for awhile anyway. in Minnesota i only had limited internet access, so that's why i never posted. and it will be the same again in August! :)

have a great week!
toodles!

Had I not seen you in person I might have wondered what happened to you but alas, you are back. What was grandma thinking letting her baby bring her four wheeling?? And darling picture of Lillian, now I'm wishing I wouldn't have gotten her hair cut but oh well, it will grow again and she will be able to wear braids again!! Looks like you had a great time. Maybe your mom and dad will move to "up north" then you won't have to wait till you graduate. Love you tons kummi girl!! Rita
