Abby | {kids}

this little girl holds a very special spot in my heart. i babysat her (and her brother, who you'll see someday soon!) all summer long, then when i started this school year in Minnesota, it was her family that i lived with. she was like a little sister to me. we played endless hours of house, took photos together, edited photos together, rode the school bus together, everything! she looked up to me, and, little did she know it, i looked up at her as well. respect is such an amazing thing. and when i can see it, as well as admiration, shining in any little child's eyes as they talk to me or look at me, it just tugs my heart strings and i can't help but just love them! and want to just smother them with hugs and kisses! and i respect them with everything that i've got. it makes me want to be a better role model. it makes me BE a better role model!

Abby's mouth goes a mile a minute. she's talking, telling stories, using her extremely vivid imagination, from the time she wakes up to the time that her head hits her pillow at night. she has a very advanced mind, for her age that is. her vocabulary is almost bigger than mine, it seems! she understands much more than you would think. and she isn't scared to voice her thoughts/opinion!:)  she could play house day in and day out if someone would play with her. and her imagination is amazing. i wish i had her imagination! she can be Laura Ingalls, she can be the Amish, she can be me and I her, she can be ANYTHING she sets her beautiful little mind to. Abby just lives life to it's max! she takes as much as possible out of it!

when i lived with her, we had this conversation many times:

Abby: Brianna
Me: What?
Abby: Since you're living with us for this year, you're almost like my big sister, right?
Me: Yup! I sure am! And you're like my little sister for the year!
Abby: Yup! (then she would walk away smiling.:))

and little did she know, i will always have a sort of 'big-sisterly' protection for her. i will always be there to defend her, and stand by her.

this first photo is one of my favorites. who would've ever thought that a house would serve as a decent looking background? certainly not me! she chose this spot (and pose) herself! :)  (psst.. i know these photos are huge, but i couldn't resist!)

love these next two. they're totally abby!

and i'll end this post sharing her beautiful eyes. her beautiful eyes that steal my heart!

Abby, you will always hold a special spot in my heart. and will always be almost as a little sister to me. i love you to pieces and miss you more than your dear little heart could know! i will always be here for you. forever!

i love you, Abby!
love your 'big sister',
bree
