what if...

...i came today bearing some more big news? would that surprise you? well, it's true. whether it surprises you or not, i come today bearing some more BIG news. and i mean like very LARGE news!

but before i get to that, how about this weekend? how was YOUR weekend?

my weekend was very low-key and relaxing. very enjoyable! i'll give more when i share with you the photos from this weekend that are sitting on my camera. i had other things (such as, heh, working on Christmas gifts) that were higher on my list than putting photos on the computer. sounds like a diligent photographer, right?

anyways, for the big news. you ready for it? it's something BIG! it's by far the best Christmas gift anyone could ask for..

I AM RELOCATING! I am relocating to Rochester, Minnesota! my dad got a job there, and so we will be moving sometime towards the end of January. the exact date that we are going to be officially gone from the UP isn't set yet, but when it is, i'll be sure to let you know.

to be honest, i'm very ready for this move. up here in the UP, i am pretty far from lots of family and close friends. so this move will bring me so much closer to both of these. in reality and in truth, i think this move will be really good for me. emotionally, that is. as well as for my business. i believe this is what i've needed for a long time. i'm hoping it will be as amazing as i think it will be. because i need this.

so, for all you Michigan people. this is going to be your last chance in quite some time to get a session with me before i am gone. i don't know how long it will be until i am back! so if you are interested in a session, NOW IS THE TIME.

and, for all you Minnesota people, i will be in the Minneapolis area every weekend. i will be around! so starting the beginning of February, i will be there for good. and definitely more available for sessions.

i know that was a lot to throw at you, but i'm excited! and ready for this big new step in life!! to me, it symbolizes a new beginning. i'm hoping that it will leave some of the pain behind, some of my struggles. and it'll be clean and happy! of course i'll encounter more struggles and hardships, because that's just part of life, but now is the time to let some things go from my past and move forward. this move is meant to be. and i couldn't be more thankful for it! i am ready for it, as i have been for a long time. life goes on, life changes, and we just have to adapt to the change and accept it. because most times we can't change change, so why dwell on it?

whew, and i just loaded a bunch more on you. well, that's who i am. and this is what a blog is for, right? thanks for listening!

can you see the face?

i hope your Christmas was good and enjoyable! enjoy the rest of your break if you're on it, and enjoy the snow if you have it!:)

toodles!

haha, yeah I can see it! Sounds wonderful that you are excited for this. Sometimes it isn't easy for the movers, so keep up the great attitude and use the move for the best! Best wishes, as I still wont see you for a while!

Welcome to Minnesota when you move! I think I see the face, but I'm not sure.
