U.P. beauty

all day yesterday i racked my brain as to what i should write about today. my poor brain searched all sides, angles, cracks and crevices, and it just couldn't scrounge anything up. sad to say, i'm running out of ideas. this means that something exciting must happen! but i can't MAKE something exciting happen.. something just happens and you hope that it's exciting! (the only thing i haven't just straight out said right now, is i haven't touched my camera in the last few days. it's the harsh truth. so to solve my 'lack of blog ideas' problem, i just have to take my camera out and take some pictures. simple. so i'm thinking my camera and i will go galavanting this afternoon and hope to stumble across something worth snapping a picture of. i mean, seriously, in the UP there's gotta be something out there. don't ya think?)

so for now, i'll leave you with a few pictures that i snapped a few weeks ago. truth be told, im not much of a scenery photographer. i'd rather stick with pictures of people. maybe someday i'll try the scenery stuff, but for now people pictures keep me content. (i have a feeling they forever will..)

these were taken not even 1/4 mile from our house. you never know what you'll find in the UP. it's really pretty up here though, and encourage every single one of you to come visit up here. (to see the scenery of course, but we for sure wouldn't mind some company either!)

and hallelujah only one more school day left this week after today. the days drag by, but the weeks just fly. wonder how that works!?

Sounds like writers cramp. but that's the joy of an artist, there are ebbs and flows. The best way to get something out of nothing is to just do something. Ideas are always there, you just have to find them.

I get stuck in a rut too sometimes, and that's when I pull out the "random" card and just blog about a whole lot of nothing. LOL keep up the great work!
