life these days.

wow. life these days was hectic. now that i look back, i am absolutely amazed that i was able to squeeze that blog post in yesterday, and it was that long! how in the world i did it, i may never know. amidst a few other things, our water pipes froze. at first we were thinking that it was something correlated with the well, but the well guys came and said that it was just fine, so under the trailer my dad went. sure enough! a leak here and there (there were only a few), and heat tape that had been wrapped around the pipes but not plugged in. my dad was the lucky one to make a trip to the 'parts' store, run the water until the chlorine that the well guys put in it was gone, and an evening spent fixing the pipes.we couldn't have done it without him!

we now have running water! hallelujah! a huge huge thanks to my father! (the dishes and laundry piles are reaching their dirty fingers towards the ceiling. we NEED the running water.)  you know, you don't realize how much you take something for granted until it's taken away. i will always remember to enjoy my running water to the fullest; my showers, my dishwasher, my washing machine, my everything that uses running water!

these were taken this past weekend and they show clearly how the past days have been going.

and from here on, my week should be fairly laid back. i will be able to get ahead in my online classes, and i will take pictures. at school, the juniors have ACT's, and since i'm not a junior and most of the classes i take are with the juniors, i have 3 days that are pretty much free. i am so looking forward to this!

and holy smokes! it's March. a whole new month. February went by like a blink of an eye! (that rhymed, in case you didn't notice. heh.) i seriously don't know where the time goes. i can FINALLY say that we are going to MN this month! and i know for a fact that it's less than a month away. exciting!  (you see, we're going to MN for spring break and i seriously can't wait!!)
